In the last six months we as FDD have consistently been advising our colleagues in the PF Government to widely consult all relevant stakeholders and come up with a win-win situation for both the Zambian people and the mine owners. I have personally gone further by calling on the appointing authority to fire the Minister of Finance , My elder brother Alexander Chikwanda because he is not the right person to head the Ministry but as usual our humble advice has been met with insults and insolence now the 2014/2015 budget has collapsed and whose it that we should blame?
The collapse of the Budget should be a clear testimony that this Government lacks the necessary leadership skills and tools to manage our economy. There will be serious ramifications on the economy and we have to brace ourselves for even harder times.
