POLICE IN KASAMA ARE LOOKING FOR AN EX-CONVICT, IN CONNECTION WITH A BREAKING-IN WHICH TOOK PLACE AT AGAPAO GUEST HOUSE.
Northern Division Criminal Investigations Officer, Mubita Nawa said it is reported that on April 14, 2015; James Mausana Mulenga of Kasama’s Namulundu village broke into one of the guest rooms and stole money amounting to K 100, 000.
Officer Nawa said police got a tip-off from the members of the public that the said Mulenga who is popularly known as ‘Cool J’ was reported to be behind the breaking.
He added that police launched an investigation after they received a complaint from a businessman of Kaputa that his money has been stolen from the said guest house.
Mr Nawa further disclosed that police have since recovered household goods suspected to be proceeds of crime from the house of James Mausana Mulenga
The Northern Division Criminal Investigations Officer has appealed to the members of the public with information that could lead to the apprehension of Mulenga to report to police.
