I recently undertook a walk around Misisi, Kuku, and Chawama Compounds.
It was quiet refreshing, yet touching to continue appreciating how our people live in these areas.
I wish to reiterate on the need for basic necessities such as decent housing, water and sanitation facilities, as well as work on the drainage and health facilities.
Whether or not we consider these to be unplanned settlements, the point is there are fellow Zambians living in these areas that deserve better service and care.
It is important to re-align our priorities and put more emphasis on issues that address the plight of our people, especially the vulnerable in society.
Otherwise, I enjoyed ‘michopo’, and other food stuffs we came across during our walk with our fellow citizens in these areas.
Thank you for welcoming me once more.
We have no time for him ECL chiba
