Two nominated for Kamilende ward by- elections in Lukulu District
Lukulu, March 11, 2015, ZANIS — Two candidates have successfully filed in their nominations ahead of the next month’s Kamilende local government by-elections.
These are Patriotic Front (PF)’s Patrick Mwiya Mubiana and Nalumino Nalumino for the opposition United Party for National Development (UPND) .
The candidates filed in their nominations before Kamilende Ward Returning Officer Derrick Kanyamba at Kaluwawa Primary School yesterday.
The kamilende local government by-election will take place on 14th April, 2015. The ward has 1,446 registered voters.
The seat fell vacant following the resignation of the ward councilor Mr. Patrick Mwiya Mubiana from MMD to PF.
