Late Women Freedom Fighters Recognition Ceremony in Pictures

Ministry of Gender and Child Development organised a “late Women Freedom Fighters Recognition Ceremony”; the ceremony graced by Zambia 1st president Kaunda , Minister Prof Nkadu Luo and some women freedom fighters: mama Chibesa kankasa, Christine Mulundika, Esther Banda, Margaret Pasquini (daughter of Mama Chikamoneka), mama Monica Mumba (wife of Omelo Mumba), mama Bessy Nyoni Chanda, just to mention but a few; it  was marked by laying of wreaths on the graveyards of the late Mama Betty Mutinke Kaunda and Julia Chikamoneka at Leopard  Hill Cemetery and Zambia 1st president residence in Lusaka.
