Mbabane Swallows Football Club has arrived in Ndola for the Caf Champions League preliminary round second leg against Zesco United scheduled for Levy Mwanawasa Stadium on Saturday.
Swallows arrived at Simon Mwansa Kapwepwe International Airport at 12h10 on Friday.
Mbabane Swallows Chief Executive Officer Sibusiso Manana told fazfootball.com that his team was in Zambia to qualify for the next round.
“Zambia is like our second home because every year we are here. We are familiar with the territory so we are looking forward to a win.
“We are going to look back and analyse what happened in the first leg. Like any team that enters a competition we are here to compete; we are not here to add numbers.
“Zambians know what to expect from Mbabane Swallows. We are a very attacking team; we always scores goals whether home or away. I think that give us an advantage,” Manana said.
Manana whose team has been paired with and eliminated by Zambian opposition in 2013 and 2014 added that history will count for nothing on Saturday.
Mbabane Swallows lost 3-2 on aggregate too Zanaco in 2013 and 5-4 to Nkana a year later.
“We have been eliminated by Zambian teams in the last two seasons but by a very small margin. That means we are a very competitive team,” he said.
The winner of this tie will play either Sewe Sport of Cote d’Ivoire or Kaloum FC of Guinea in the first round.
