The award ceremony took place at Moba Hotel in Kitwe on Friday evening where league champions were presented with a trophy and a cheque valued at K250 000.00. 00.
Zambia U20 national team midfielder Larry Bwalya who played for Nchanga Rangers in 2014 was voted the young player of the year and walked away with K15, 000.00.
Zesco United forward Winston Kalengo won the Most Disciplined Player of the year award valued at K15,000. 00.
Zesco United defender Nyambe Mulenga was presented with the FAZ President’s Meritorious Award valued at K10, 000.00.
Zesco United coach George Lwandamina who led the Nolan based team to a league and cup double won the Coach of the Year award and walked away with a cheque valued at K20,000. Lwandamina was also given a high definition explorer decoder by Super Sport.
Gladys Lengwe won the Best Referee of the Year award walking away with a cheque valued K15,000. 00 while Bruno Tembo won the Best Assistant Referee of the Year award valued at K10,000. 00. Both referees were given a high definition Dstv decoder courtesy of Super Sport.
