—–Zambia National Broadcasting Corporation (ZNBC) has assured Chief Chitambo of Serenje district that the poor radio reception experienced in the area is being addressed by the Corporation.
ZNBC Corporate Affairs Manager Masuzyo Ndhlovu said ZNBC is aware of the poor radio reception that is being experienced in Chief Chitambo’s area and some other parts of the country.
In an interview with ZANIS in Lusaka today, Mr Ndhlovu said ZNBC has already bought spare parts which will arrive in the country soon to correct the situation.
He said the team of technician would soon be dispatched to areas that are experiencing poor reception countrywide to allow people in rural areas to access information.
Mr. Ndhlovu was responding to Chief Chitambo of the Lala speaking people from Serenje district who said that poor radio and television reception experienced in his chiefdom has denied the area of vital programme since December 2014.
