Zambia Prisons Service withdraws jobs advert

THE Zambia Prisons Service has received calls from citizens interested in joining it in various capacities, while others submitted letters of application following an advertisement which was carried by the electronic media on January 25, 2015, indicating that full details of the advert were to be published in the print media.
I wish to stress that the advert was not published in the print media because it was prematurely aired by the electronic media, which was asked to retract the same.
Therefore, in reaction to the potential candidate’s letter to the editor in the Zambia Daily Mail dated February 6, 2015, and indeed for the information of the general public, I wish to take this opportunity to restate that the said advert has since been withheld until further notice.
