-Voting is underway in Shangombo’s Sinjembela constituency in the Western province.
ZANIS reports from Shangombo that although polling stations were opened at 06:00 hours in the morning, the turn- out of voters in the area by mid-morning was low.
Nearby stations visited that included Mboiwa and Shangombo basic school recorded less than 100 voters by 10:00 hours.
Sinjembela constituency has 64 polling centers with 40, 642 registered voters.
The constituency that is also among the biggest in the Western Province stretches across two districts namely Shangombo and Sioma and is posed with a sandy terrain coupled with flooding in most areas.
