Zambia has seen unprecedented development in the last two years – Msichili
Lusaka, January 18, 2015, ZANIS —– Local Government Permanent Secretary Stanford Msichili says the country has seen unprecedented development in the past two years.
Mr. Msichili says government through his ministry has been implementing many developmental projects such as in road infrastructure, housing and water supply among others which will greatly benefit masses.
He noted that any party that will form government after the elections should continue with the developmental projects until completion for the benefit of the people.
Mr. Msichili said this yesterday after touring development projects in Ndola in water and road infrastructure.
He further said 180 housing units will be constructed across the country to help caution on the housing deficit in the country.
Mr. Msichili stated that his ministry will continue with its support towards water utility companies to ensure that water supply in the country is improved.
Meanwhile, the PS has urged councils country wide to improve their operations by being efficient in their service delivery.
Mr. Msichili said his ministry is looking forward to a strengthened local authority that will be able to offer good services to people.
