Fourth Revolution Party president, Eric Chanda, has urged Zambians to brace for a new Zambia.
The 39 year old leader said Zambia needs a young, vibrant and visionary leader to revolutionalise the country.
Mr Chanda was speaking after filing in his nomination papers before acting Chief Justice, Lombe Chibesakunda and Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) chairperson, Justice Irene Mambilima.
He said his successful nomination for 2015 presidential election has signalled the start of a new Zambia.
He added that the new country will be built on peace, unity and truthfulness.
Mr Chanda said once elected he will empower Zambians to take over retail shops from foreign investors.
He said he will restrict foreign investors into the manufacturing sector to promote local production of goods to spur job creation.
Mr Chanda’s nomination was over-shadowed by United Party for National Development (UPND) supporters who gathered three hours early, causing traffic jam around the Supreme Court area.
