Opposition Fourth Revolution Party (FRP) President Eric Chanda says he will take part in the forthcoming presidential by-election slated for January 20th, 2015.
Mr. Chanda has told QFM News in an interview that he has since officially written to the Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) to inform them of his decision to participate in the presidential election.
Mr. Chanda says he is ready for the by-election and stands a better chance of winning the election.
He states that he will not promise heaven on earth to the Zambian people simply to get votes.
Mr Chanda has also appealed to young people to support young leaders like him who are aspiring for the republican presidency.
