THE MMD IN NORTHERN PROVINCE HAS ADMITTED THAT CONFUSION HAS ROCKET THE PARTY.
Party regional chairperson, Stephen Mukuka made the remarks in interview with Mano News, but was however quick to lay the blame on the state of affairs on Rupiah Banda.
Mr. Mukuka further accused Rupiah having destroyed party structures in the run-up to the 2011 general elections which eventually cost the party, but Nevers came on board and re-built it.
He charged that as far as the party is concerned in the province, Nevers Mumba is its candidate in the January 20, 2015 presidential election.
And Mr. Mukuka has accused some non-governmental organisation of been paid to discredit his party.
On Saturday, MMD president; Nevers Mumba launched his campaign trail in Chinsali while Rupiah Banda who was issued a certificate of adoption by the National Executive Committee launched his Sunday in Lusaka.
