Thank you people of Kitwe for the support you gave me during my High Court appearance this morning. Ideally we should be in high gear in our ‘Zambia United’ tour of the country. But as a law abiding citizen, I should respect the court processes where I am appearing for various cases the PF government slapped on me.
My court case has again been adjourned, but I urge our supporters across the country to remain focussed with campaigns and explain our policies of reducing fuel prices, reducing mealie meal prices, lifting the wage and employment freeze, gaving preferential treatment to the Zambian companies especially in the mining sector and generally lowering the cost of living.
Like I have said, we in the UPND will not run a vindictive government despite what we are going through currently. We promise rule of law and respect for humanity rights and freedoms.
I am now on my way to Chipata for my continued tour of the country.
