Former Republican President Rupiah Banda says he is the only presidential candidate with a national appeal.
He says this is the reason why he was referred to as the President for all Zambians.
Mr. Banda says he is not regarded as a statesman because he has been dragged to the courts of law since the time he lost elections in 2011.
Mr. Banda states that he is a humble citizen who has never failed to make himself available before the court and he will continue to abide and adhere to the rules of the land.
He states that it will be unfortunate if his opponents choose to use his court cases to campaign against him in the forthcoming presidential by-election.
Mr Banda has since expressed confidence of winning the January 2015 election owing to the experience he has to govern the country.
