—-Chief NKana of the Lamba speaking people of Lufwanyama district has lashed out at investors in his Chiefdom for not ploughing back into the community.
Speaking when Copperbelt Permanent Secretary, Howard Sikwela, paid him a visit at his palace today, chief Nkana stated that there is no reason for his chiefdom to lag behind in infrastructural development, as it has a lot of investors.

The traditional leader complained that the poverty levels in his chiefdom were still very high, adding that his people have not in any way benefited from the presence of Emerald Mining Companies in the area.
And Copperbelt Permanent Secretary, Howard Sikwela, said it is imperative for investors to ensure that they improve the quality of life for communities they have invested in.
Rev Sikwela stated that investors make a lot of money, adding that there is no reason for them not to take corporate social responsibility seriously.
