Miyanda launches HP campaigns
Mongu, 27 November, 2014, ZANIS—Heritage Party President Godfrey Miyanda is in Mongu district on a campaign visit ahead of the 20th January 2015 Presidential by-election.
Brigadier General Miyanda took time to talk to some Mongu residents yesterday at Mongu main town centre around 18:15hours before proceeding to Barotse Royal Establishment (BRE) for a courtesy call.
ZANIS reports that Brig Gen Miyanda said once elected into power his objective was to change the governance system of Zambia which will translate into more money into people’s pockets.
He said more money in people’s pockets literally doesn’t construe giving out money to people but the change of leadership policies that would embrace and allow everyone have a share of the national cake.
The Heritage Party President stressed the need of transform the country from the direction of poverty to that of more a prosperous nation.
He urged the people in the province to rally behind him as he was a sole candidate who has the heart for the majority poor Zambians.
He noted that it was high time for things to change as Zambians have been cheated by various politicians who have failed to honor their promises.
Brig Gen Miyanda disclosed this in Mongu yesterday in view of the approaching 2015 Presidential by- election necessitated by the death of the incumbent President Michael Chilufya Sata who died on 28th of October 2014 in London.
