Alliance for Better Zambia (ABZ) president Father Frank Bwalya says he decided to pull out of the opposition alliance because people were not being honest to each other.
Fr Bwalya says his party’s continued stay in the opposition alliance therefore became unattainable.
Reacting to accusations that he has betrayed the opposition alliance by choosing to support the Patriotic Front in the presidential election, Fr Bwalya has told Qfm news that he does not think that this is the right time to blame one another but a time to own up.
He states that his party has not yet created enough structures throughout the country to enable it contest the election, hence the decision to support the ruling Patriotic Front.
The opposition alliance consisted the MMD, All People’s Congress, People’s Party, Zambians for Empowerment and Development and Alliance for Better Zambia.
