A 21 year old polygamist of Mungwi has committed suicide after taking rat poison.
Northern Province police commissioner Charity Katanga confirmed the incident to Mano News today saying Geoffrey Kalinda decided to take his life after his two wives had picked up a quarrel.
Commissioner Katanga stated that preliminary reports are that Kalinda’s wives have had disputes for some time now.
She said Kalinda took the rat poison around 12:00Hrs yesterday and was rushed to Mungwi District Health Center where he later died.
