ZAMBIA Army Commander Paul Mihova has called for discipline among army personnel and encouraged them to develop themselves by perusing academic and military courses.
The Army Commander has also called on the army personnel to refrain from participating in partisan politics and support the Government of the day.
Lieutenant General Mihova said as the country was in the process of holding a presidential election next year and the 2016 general elections, the army needed to remain loyal to the current Government. He was speaking during the 20th Anniversary celebrations of Zambia Army’s 18 intake of 1994 at Lusaka’s Arakan Barracks on Friday night.
He said any officer found wanting would be disciplined accordingly.
