Isoka District thanks govt for live beaming of President Sata’s funeral
Isoka 10.11.2014 ZANIS : Several Isoka Residents in Muchinga province have thanked the Ministry of information and broadcasting for initiative to set up mountable television screens in the District to allow the community to witness the live funeral procession of late President Sata.
Speaking on behalf of isoka mourners kelvin Mwaba said the move by government was good as it had accorded the rural communities , Isoka district in particular to view the funeral procession of the Late President.
Mr Mwaba said people of Isoka have had opportunity of mourning the president in a dignified manner despite the area having no ZNBC TV signal.
And ZANIS in Isoka says it set to ensure the live screening of the funeral proceedings are beamed live in the remotest parts of the rural district.
ZANIS District Information officer Freddy Phiri who confirmed this in Isoka today said his men had put the equipment in place such as TV sets and the mobile public address system in remote areas of the District such as Kafwimbi and kateyetye chiefdoms for live beaming of the funeral.
