Former President Fredrick Chiluba’s widow Regina says it was only God who can give First Lady Christine Kaseba the peace that surpasses human understanding.
And Mrs Chiluba has described the late President Michael Sata as a fantastic man.
Speaking in an interview with ZANIS at Mulungushi International Conference Centre where the late President Sata’S body is laying in State,, Mrs Chiluba said the only comfort for Dr Kaseba was to stand on the word God.
She said she will miss Mr Sata for his humility as he interacted with anyone despite their status in society.
Mrs Chiluba said she enjoyed working with Mr Sata when she held various political positions in the MMD era further stating that the late President was also a close friend to her family.
“I will miss him as he supported my late husband greatly when he was facing court charges, he would come home to visit us, even when my husband was sick and travelled out of the country, he used to come to the airport to receive us,” She recalled.
She added that the late President Chiluba enjoyed a cordial relationship with Mr Sata as the later served the MMD diligently before he formed his own political party.
Mrs Chiluba also recalled how Mr Chiluba supported PF from 2002 to 2008.
