PRESS STATEMENT ON PREMIER ARTS AND PRODUCTION DRAMA PERFORMANCE FOR DIPLOMATS ON WEDNESDAY 15TH OCTOBER 2014 AT GOVERNMENT COMPLEX.
Premier Arts and Productions (PREPS) a young vibrant Theatre Club that comprises of 2013 grade twelve school-leavers who have teamed up and have continued to pursue performing Arts as a career and as means of creating employment for themselves and acquiring skills in advocacy, entrepreneurship, community mobilization, governance, leadership, and awareness and education campaigns will hold a gala night for Diplomats on Wednesday 15th October, 2014 at 1800 hours at the Government Complex.
The upcoming artists whose patron is Hon. Given Lubinda, Member of Parliament for Kabwata Constituency have successfully rehearsed two plays “Holy Corruption” and “Does the President Know.” The plays which are full of humour but highlight on cardinal aspects of life have attracted 86 heads missions for the gala night.
Other shows have also been lined up after the diplomats show. These are the Politician’s show aimed at targeting Members of Parliament and leaders of political parties, the Civil Society Organisations, Senior Government Officials, church leader and lastly countrywide tours.
It is hoped that the plays will be a good forum of raising awareness on important issues that affect our society.
