Proflight Air Services (P0, Lusaka) will commence its first international services out of the northern Zambian city of Ndola when it launches a 3x weekly service to Lubumbashi in the neighbouring Democratic Republic of Congo beginning October 14. Operations are on-board a Jetstream 41.
Kenya Airways (KQ, Nairobi Jomo Kenyatta) already operates the route as part of its twice weekly rotations to Nairobi Jomo Kenyatta using a combination of EMB-190 and B737-800 equipment.
At present, the Zambian operator’s only international route is from its Lusaka hub to Lilongwe in Malawi.
