Nyirenda, Chilufya relieved of duty at HCB Songo F.C  in Mozambique

Lusaka, September 19th, 2014,  ZANIS–Mozambique Football club HCB Songo F.C  has terminated the contract its of Zambian coach Wedson Nyirenda with immediate effect.

 

The club has also with immediate effect terminated the contract of Nyirenda’s assistant and Zambian counterpart Dabid Chilufya.

 

The move comes after a series of discussions which the two Zambian coaches have been having with the Clubs management.

 

ZANIS sports reports that Nyirenda, a three-time Zambian Coach of the Year,  confirmed  his dismissal via social media.

 

Nyirenda expressed satisfaction with his contribution to the club since he took over as Head Coach in January 2013.

 

Prior to trekking to Mozambique, Nyirenda was coach of the Football Association of Zambia FAZ/MTN super league side ZESCO United.
