North Western Province Police Commissioner Eugene Sibote says political parties taking part in the Solwezi Central and Zambezi West by-elections have continued conducting their campaigns peacefully.
Mr. Sibote says from the time the campaigns begun; Police have not received any indication of possible violence among the participating political parties.
He has told Qfm News in a telephone interview that this is a sign that political parties are conducting their business within the electoral boundaries.
Mr. Sibote says his command expects that the peaceful atmosphere in the two constituencies will continue even up to polling day.
He however states that the Police command is ready for any eventualities.
