Lungu’s appointment elates east PF
Chipata, September 3, 2014, ZANIS…The PF in the Eastern Province has congratulated Defence Minister Edgar Lungu on his appointment as Justice Minister and Secretary General of the ruling party.
In a statement released to ZANIS today by PF Eastern Province chairperson Attan Mwamba, the appointment of Mr Lungu comes at a time when the ruling seems to be divided and in need of unity, peace and love.
Mr Mwamba described Mr Lungu as a unifying factor which the party desperately needs at the moment saying the task ahead requires the new Secretary General to put aside emotions and personal interests.
“You need to put party interests before your own interests if you are to lead in line with the expectations of the people and the President,” he said.
Mr Mwamba wished Mr Lungu well as he executes his new duties.
