Change strategy for pushing release of constitution – chanda

Mr. Chanda has also maintained that it will be one of the greatest mistakes the PF will ever make if they fail to deliver the new republican constitution before 2016.

Mr. Chanda has told QFM News that it is worrying that the government has remained adamant with regards the constitution making process to the disappointment of many Zambians.

He states that it will be disheartening if government abandons the whole process considering the huge sums of money that has been pumped in the process.

Mr Chanda says it is for this reason that all relevant stakeholders meet and strategize how they will push government in the tight corner to release the document.

He adds that it is painful to Zambians that the government has decided to go mute over the constitution making process and no one is showing commitment towards the enactment of the new republican constitution.

Mr. Chanda states that Zambians are anxiously waiting for the enactment of the new constitution.
