Govt. urges civil servants to change people’s lives
Chavuma, August 25, 2014,ZANIS-Mines and Energy Deputy Minister Charles Zulu has urged civil servants to change people’s lives by implementing government projects prudently.
Mr Zulu emphasized the need for government workers to have people’s interest at heart and deliver development where it is needed.
ZANIS reports that the Deputy minister was speaking in Chavuma District today when he addressed heads of government departments at the district administration.
Mr Zulu advised civil servants to exercise good leadership which in turn trigger development and leave a legacy in areas where they operate from.
He said government workers should always regard themselves as leaders and avoid looking at politicians as the only leaders that need to drive the country’s developmental agenda.
