Police check points are meaningless – Kamuti

Association President Aaron Kamuti has told QFM News in an interview that the check points are just inconveniencing people because the flow of traffic is affected.

Mr. Kamuti says the constant police check points are not saving any purpose considering that they want to mount road blocks during peak times when people have deadlines to meet.

He has accused the Zambia Police Traffic Department of allegedly finding faults in the motorists.

He says there is need for the police traffic department to operate within the confinement of the law instead of them mounting check points at their own will.

Mr. Kamuti has since advised the police traffic department to work out means that will ensure that the flow of traffic is not disturbed when they are checking for road tax and other issues.
