–Zambia National Women’s Team Coach, Charles Bwale, says the two friendly matches against Cameroun will give the team an insight of what to expect at the Africa cup finals in Namibia.

Bwale said Cameroon is a team with a lot of experience and expressed happiness with the Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) for organising the two high profile international friendly games.

ZANIS Sports reports that Coach Bwale further disclosed that the senior team is expected to get into residential camp on September 1 in readiness for the Namibia championship.

Yesterday, FAZ secured two friendlies with the Cameroon Women National Team which will set its training base in Lusaka ahead of the Africa Cup Women finals slated for Namibia in October, this year.

Meanwhile, FAZ communications officer, Nkweto Tembwe, said the actual dates for the two matches will be communicated soon.

Tembwe said the Cameroonians, who are expected in the country next week, will also play some friendly games with other Zambian women teams.

Zambia is in group A with hosts Namibia, Nigeria and Ivory Coast at the tournament that will run from October 11 to 24, 2014.
