Zambian side Nkana Red Devils have started negotiations with Tunisian coach Al Sahraway El Gedidy to take over the team.
The defending Faz Super League Champions are looking for someone to replace head coach Masauso Mwale who died in a road accident on May 23 just 24 hours before their match against Sewe Sport in the Caf Confederation Cup.
“The Nkana chairman talked to me and offered me the job to take charge of the team. I told him my terms and if he accepts them we will sign the contracts,” El Gedidy told Tunisian Radio.
Al Sahraway El Gedidy was born in 1966 and moved to England in 1986 where he studied and played for many teams.
Nkana are fourth in the Confederation African Cup group B with only one point after losing the first game against Al Ahly of Egypt and then drawing 1-1 with Sewe Sport.
That is the way to go.
