The Patriotic Front in Northern Province has reacted angrily to sentiments attributed to Chief Chimbuka of Chinsali that his area will not be a go-area for PF Secretary General Wynter Kabimba for allegedly bringing confusion in the party.
Reacting to a story published in the Daily Nation on Monday 19th May 2014, PF Regional Secretary Everist Chela warned that his party will not condone traditional leaders involving themselves in politics.
The visibly annoyed Chela charged that it is unfortunate that Chief Chimbuka has chosen to wage war against Wynter Kabimba who is also the Justice Minister.
He added that in as much as the party recognizes the role Chief Chimbuka played in ensuring that PF wins the 2011 general elections, it will condone what he termed as uncalled for behavior.
Mr Chela said this at a rally attended by PF Secretary General Wynter Kabimba held at Luwingu’s Presidents Park.
He has since called on Mr Kabimba not to be shaken by what he termed as cheap politics by the traditional leader.
