Water situation at Mbala secondary school pathetic – Mbala DC

Mbala District Commissioner, Best Kabulembe has described the water situation at Mbala secondary school as pathetic.

Mr. Kabulembe who visited the school yesterday was upset to discover that Chambeshi Water and Sewerage Company have abandoned the connection of water from the elevated tank to the ablution blocks.

He has since directed the water utility company in the district to quickly normalize the situation to avert the outbreak of water borne diseases at the learning institution.

The District Commissioner wondered why the company could fail to complete the project when government paid the company huge sums of money and procured all the required materials.
