The ruling Patriotic Front in Northern Province has advised the opposition MMD to stop commenting on issues surrounding Kelvin Sampa’s donations and concentrate on resolving its internal wrangles.
PF Regional Secretary Everist Chela said this in reaction to sentiments by MMD Provincial Chairperson Stephen Mukuka that Kelvin Sampa’s donations are meant to woo support from electorates in Kasama Central Constituency.
Mr Chela lashed out at Mr Mukuka saying he should concentrate on putting the MMD house in order.
Over the weekend, MMD Northern Province Chairperson Stephen Mukuka threatened that his party would take legal action against Mr Sampa.
Mr Mukuka noted with concern the alleged corrupt activities being conducted by Mr Sampa in Kasama Central Constituency.

On Saturday, PF Kasama Central Constituency Officials castigated District Chairperson Caleb Monta for withdrawing his earlier statement of restraining cadres from accompanying civil rights activist Kelvin Sampa.
Speaking when they stormed Radio Mano this morning, PF District Women Treasurer, Dynes Chisanga; Vice Publicity Secretary Bernard Chanda and Kasama Central Constituency Secretary; Annie Chilima said they are shocked at a dramatic change of statements by Mr Monta.
