Sata urged to emulate KK’s philosophy of tribal balancing

Opposition Forum for Democratic Alternatives (FDA) has implored President Michael Sata to emulate the first republican President Kenneth Kaunda’s philosophy of tribal balancing in public governance matters.

In a statement to Qfm news FDA General Secretary Kennedy Mubanga says an attribute that Dr. Kaunda has left for himself as a legacy and which is also an attribute of the late President Dr. Levy Patrick Mwanawasa, is what Mr. Sata should imitate as opposed engaging in divisive politics.

Mr. Mubanga says in congratulating Dr. Kaunda on his 90th birthday which falls on the 28th this month, his party thanks him for ably leading and uniting the nation through his famous slogan One Zambia One Nation coupled with the philosophy of tribal balancing in public governance matters.

Mr. Mubanga says it is Dr. Kaunda’s attributes of uniting the nation and the need for President Sata to emulate such attributes that his party the FDA has spoken.

He says this is in in view of the nation’s alleged flying apart wherein the ruling Patriotic Front’s survival in government which he alleges is only by means of brutal force against those perceived to pose serious threat to its hold on power.

The FDA General Secretary says his party also believes that Dr. Kaunda will go down in the annals of history as a statesman and true father of the nation.
