Mr. Hichilema has also received commendation for the same decision from united liberal party (ULP) president Sakwiba Sikota who has also described the UPND leader as a politician with high level of maturity and who has the interest of the country.
And ICOZ President David Masupa says his organization is particularly pleased that Mr. Hichilema decision not to repay violence with violence has been made despite Mr. Hichilema himself being personally persecuted.
Meanwhile Bishop Masupa has also told Qfm news in an interview that his organization is also shocked that the Alliance for Better Zambia (ABZ) leader Frank Bwalya was also attacked in Ndola barely a week after the violent attack by pf cadres on the UPND leader’s entourage in the same area.
The ICOZ President says this however calls for president michael sata to address the issue of violence among pf cadres through a media briefing as the issue of political violence in the country is now attracting the international community observing what is happening in Zambia.
