Project Manager in Zambia for Multi-disciplinary Construction Company

The Client 

Part of a larger group, this sub-Saharan African Construction Company has a proven track record of delivering outstanding service in build construction. The company provides an excellent service to the industrial, residential and commercial construction sectors.

The Project 

The company has been awarded a string of new projects in Zambia, including a 2.5million USD 70 residential development.

The Role 

Based in Solwezi the organisation is looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager on a permanent basis with immediate effect. The successful applicant will be responsible for liaising with the clients, project management, staff management and planning. The role will be on a 8/2 rotation basis.

Suitable Applicants 

With a Degree/HND in Construction management or Civil Engineering, suitable applicants will have at least 7+ years’ experience, working in the Building Construction industry. You will ideally have experience with house build however this is not essential.
Professionals from Zambia or Zimbabwe are preferred.

Your key duties will include

-Liaising on a day to day basis with clients
-Ensuring project objectives are met
-Managing a work force of up to 200
-Risk assessment
-Assuring quality control
-Completing work within the time, budget and cash targets

Salary
An annual cost to company package from USD70k to USD85k is provided plus site allowance, accommodation, and a company car.
