The incident is said to have happened on Sunday, 30th March around 15:00 hours.
Police Spokesperson Charity Munganga-Chanda has disclosed to Qfm News in a statement that the man who was attacked as he was dropping off his two workers at Mahopo area, was forced out of his vehicle by the criminal before they beat him up and drove away with his vehicle.
And in another development, an unidentified body of a male aged between 20 and 30 dressed in a brown T-shirt and blue pair of trousers was discovered on Saturday, 29th March around 16:00 hours in Lusaka West.
Ms. Chanda says the body which had no physical injuries was discovered by the owner of the farm and that the body is currently lying in the UTH Mortuary awaiting identification and Postmortem.
She says another body of a girl aged 16 suspected to have been strangled was also discovered on Friday, 28th of March in a maize field by the owner of the field in the same area of Lusaka West after she went missing on 25th March as she was going to school.
The Police Spokesperson says Police have since instituted investigations into the two murder cases.
She has also appealed to members of the community in the area with information leading to the apprehension of the perpetrators to report to the nearest police station.
