–Lusaka Province Permanent Secretary, Wamunyima Muwana, has advised married couples to uphold the principle of fidelity for their marriages to last.
Mr Muwansa said fidelity was the most cardinal pillar in any marriage
He was speaking at the colourful wedding ceremony of Precious Mulala, daughter of Chongwe District Accountant Christopher Mulala, who got married to Samuel Mamatu on Saturday.
The Premanent Scretary urged the couple to involve God in their endeavours for them to live in harmony.
Mr Muwana called on the newly-weds to remain united and consult elders when faced with challenges.
“Marriage is special because everything starts to be in order once you marry and it is difficult for a man to leave alone. That is why God saw it fit to give man a companion,” Mr Muwana said.
The wedding was also attended by Lusaka District Commissioner, Ashell Kampengele, and other heads of government department.
