Rains destroy roads in Mporokoso District
Mporokoso, March 25, 2014, ZANIS — Government has bemoaned the bad state of roads in Mporokoso district.
Mporokoso District commissioner Jennifer Chongo says it was saddening her office that most roads in her district were impassable since the onset of the rains.
She said the heavy rains that were currently being experienced in the area had also washed away several bridges.
ZANIS reports that the District Commissioner said this in an interview at her office, today.
She lamented that the situations had worsened in some parts of the district as some villages had even been cut off.
