Dead body retrieved in Lukulu District
Lukulu, February 17, 2014 ZANIS— A body of a 26 year old man who was caught and killed by the crocodile last week in Kakulunda area in Mitete District of Western Province has been retrieved.
A relative to the deceased Martin Lukonga said the body of Mwangala Mwangala was retrieved on Sunday in the Zambezi River in Mulongo area.
Mr. Lukonga said the body which was retrieved around 10:00 hours was found with some parts missing.
He said this in an interview with ZANIS in Lukulu District, today.
He identified some parts which were missing as private parts together with the right leg adding that the body also had deep cuts.
Mr. Lukonga added that the body of Mwangala Mwangala was buried on the same day in Mulongo area.
Mwangala Mwangala of Kakulunda area of Mitete district was attached and killed by a crocodile last week on Thursday as he was crossing Kabompo River using a canoe.
