Police Spokesperson Charity Munganga-Chanda says the suspect was caught having carnal knowledge of the girl by her mother around 14:00 hours yesterday.
Mrs. Chanda says the suspect has since been charged with Defilement of a Child contrary to section 138 of the Amendment Act Cap 87 of the Penal Code of the Laws of Zambia and will appear in court soon.
