Alliance for Better Zambia (ABZ) has adopted Patricia Mwashingwele as its candidate for the Katuba constituency parliamentary by-election slated for next month.
ABZ national chairperson for women Mary Phiri has told Qfm news in an interview that a total of 12 people applied to stand but the other 11 were disqualified because they were not party members.
Ms.Phiri explains that Patricia is a credible and energetic woman who loves the people of Katuba constituency.
And when contacted for a comment ABZ president Fr. Frank Bwalya says he is confident that his party will have the first ever Member of Parliament.
Fr. Bwalya says Patricia is one of the rising stars of the country in the area of servant and innovative leadership stating that she is generous and full of goodwill and genuine laughter.
