Labour and Social Security Minister Fackson Shamenda has advised civil servants in the country to engage government in all the issues that they are not satisfied with.
Mr. Shamenda has told QFM News in an interview that there is need for civil servants to learn to follow the right procedure of complaining about issues they are aggrieved with.
Mr. Shamenda points out that government is doing everything possible to ensure that all concerns raised by civil servants are smoothly handled.
The Labour Minister also explains that issues of collective bargaining and harmonization of salaries for civil servants is a process which can be resolved by individuals.
He stresses that the civil servants must begin to follow the right channels than rushing to the media to air out their grievances.
Mr. Shamenda has also reiterated that the patriotic front government will endeavor to continue improving and creating an enabling working environmental for civil servants at all costs.
He adds that his office is always ready and open to attend to labour matters without fail.
