SANTA Claus is coming to Pershore town with gifts for children of all ages and elves from the town’s High School.
Pershore is 35.3 miles South or Birmigham, it is a market town in Worcestershire, England
From 10am to 4pm tomorrow (Saturday), Father Christmas will be in his grotto just outside Asda and youngsters will also be able to visit the elves workshop, add their star to the wishing tree and have their faces panted.
Admission is £4 per child and Santa’s elves are hoping to raise funds for charity. One of them, sixth former Polly Sloane, said they are supporting the school’s link with Zambia.
“Every year some teachers and sixth formers visit Ndola in Zambia and in return students and staff come here,” she said.
“We need to raise the cash to help pay for the Zambian’s flights and to fund their activities when they are here.”
The Pershore-Ndola links supports community projects in Zambia and educational visits to the UK. https://www.facebook.com/PershoreNdola
