Zambia Direct Democracy Movement (ZDDM) has appealed to President Michael Sata and his government not to back pedal on the constitution making process.
Mr. Kafumbo predicted that President Sata will win the 2016 elections with a landslide victory if he delivers a good constitution.
He said it was good that the Head of State finally spoke out on the constitution making process and noted the flaws in the current constitution which needed to be amended by parliament.
Mr. Kafumbo told ZANIS in an interview in Lusaka today that the President will make history as the first Zambian President to be re-elected with massive votes only if he delivers a people driven constitution.
And the ZDDM has sent a message of condolences to President Sata, the Zambian people and families of the 14 people who died in a road traffic accident in Luangwa.
Mr. Kafumbo said the country has yet again been robbed of productive citizens.
He said ZDDM stands with the nation in mourning the deceased and has since wished the survivors of the accident a quick recovery.
