The Ministry of Finance has released 23 million kwacha to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as the October funding for operations of Zambia’s missions abroad.

And Secretary to the Treasury Fredson Yamba says the release of the funds to Foreign Missions is consistent with President Sata’s commitment to reposition Zambia in economic diplomacy.

Mr. Yamba notes that the releasing of funds for operations of country’s missions abroad will facilitate the process of deriving maximum benefits from the international community by maintaining friendly relations with other countries and foreign organizations, as a means of revitalizing the Zambia’s economy.
