Mr. Saunders says constitutionally, by-elections should be held within ninety days but notes that there is no alternative if such elections are not held within the stipulated period of time.
He says this is the first time such a thing is happening that by-elections are not held within ninety days because the party in power wants to be favored.
He says the people of Mulobezi, Malambo and Petauke Central have missed a lot in terms of development in their areas because they have had no representatives in parliament for the past four months.
Meanwhile United Party for National Development (UPND) Senanga Member of Parliament, Likando Mufalali says the people of Zambia should learn from their mistakes of entrusting the PF with power.
Mr. Mufalari says the delay in holding the three by-elections should be blamed on the PF government because they allegedly want to manipulate the whole process so that they scoop the three seats.
